Car Knowledge provides general automotive education and planning tools. It does not provide a diagnosis, repair authorization, warranty determination, safety inspection, or substitute for an owner's manual, official service information, recall notice, qualified technician, or emergency service.
Vehicle-specific differences
Maintenance schedules, warning symbols, trouble-code definitions, fluids, parts, procedures, and torque specifications can differ by year, market, engine, transmission, drivetrain, trim, software calibration, and VIN. You are responsible for confirming information for the exact vehicle before acting.
Safe use
Do not perform a check or repair that exceeds your training, tools, working conditions, or the manufacturer's safety instructions. Never work under an unsupported vehicle, open a hot cooling system, touch high-voltage components, or continue driving when the vehicle may be unsafe.
